Overview

Sage Echoes (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect very little, we never sell anything, and we don't require accounts.

No Accounts Required

Sage Echoes does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information to use the app.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers:

  • Your favourite quotes
  • Your notification time preference
  • Your onboarding completion status
  • Your trial start date

Analytics

We use Mixpanel for anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Analytics events include actions like “Quote Viewed”, “Share Completed”, and “Paywall Viewed”. These events are associated with a randomly generated anonymous ID — not your name, email, or device identity.

We never sell analytics data to third parties. We never will.

Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — not your personal information. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your credit card information.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, we schedule local notifications on your device to deliver your daily quote at your chosen time. These are local notifications — they do not go through our servers.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — Hosts our quote database. No user data is stored in Supabase.
  • Mixpanel — Anonymous usage analytics. No personal data transmitted.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription management. Anonymous app user ID only.

Data Deletion

Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to delete from our servers. To remove all local data, simply uninstall the app. All locally stored data (favourites, preferences) will be permanently deleted.

Children's Privacy

Sage Echoes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
